Sturgeon Public School Division is currently seeking three (3) qualified full and part-time **Educational Assistant 2 **, for a work assignment at our Bon Accord School.

**FTE**:1.0 FTE; 6.5 hrs/day; Full-Time Permanent in Kindergarten

1.0 FTE; 6.5 hrs/day; Full-Time Permanent in Grade 4

0.57 FTE; 3.5 hrs/day; Part-Time Permanent in Grade 4

**Initial Assignment**:Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will work in a Kindergarten or Grade 4 classroom.

**Qualifications & Experience**:Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma or Certificate is required; experience working with behaviours and students who have difficulty managing emotional responses to frustration is an asset. CPR and First Aid are desirable. Preference given to applicants with experience and training with Autism, Behaviors and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Experience with Trauma Informed practice is an asset. Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered.

**Hourly Rate**:$18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
