**About the workplace**
This is a **Full-time, one year contact **role working on a Hybrid schedule, which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity Community Foundation offices and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events.
The Vancity Affordable Community Housing Program aims to ensure more people have access to affordable rental housing by preserving and growing the supply of, and access to, community-owned permanent, climate-ready affordable homes for diverse groups of low and moderate-income households, including homes developed by and for Indigenous and equity-denied groups. The program works to build capacity, secure and leverage land, and address financial barriers to accelerate non-profit affordable housing development. We do this by providing grant investments, financing and expertise to housing organizations and other community land-owners to support the conception, planning and development of climate-ready affordable housing acquisition, development and re-development projects.
The Program Analyst will work closely with the Manager, Affordable Community Housing Program, to source, assess and seek approval of grant and loan requests from the VCF Affordable Community Housing Program, and to monitor and review the grant and loan portfolio. The Program Analyst will carry out due diligence and analysis, write-up funding requests for approval, support data entry related to funding requests, and support monitoring and annual reviews of the grant and loan portfolio.

- Carryout due-diligence - including financial and impact analysis - and prepare grant and loan recommendations for approval, connecting with applicants, other funders and lenders, and where applicable Vancity Community Business/Real Estate and Impact Strategy teams.
- Support data entry and data management of approved grants and loans to facilitate financial management and impact tracking and reporting.
- Respond to inquiries and request from grantees and borrowers for grant and loan extensions or changes to terms and prepare grant and loan amendment requests for approval.
- Carryout annual review of grant and loan portfolio and support annual statement preparation, including requesting updates from projects on their development status and repayment timeline.
- Participate in outreach, education, and marketing activities and events that will lead to a strong and diverse pipeline of granting and lending opportunities, including ensuring awareness and access to the program among Indigenous-led and equity-deserving organizations and projects.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, tools/forms, and systems that ensure effective delivery and management of the grant and loan program and portfolio.
