Mill Street Brewery is a leading craft brewer in Ontario. Founded in 2002 in Toronto, it is today the largest brewer of Certified Organic Beer in Canada and every drop of our beer is made with the belief that beer can be made better.

JOB OVERVIEW:
The role of the Mill Street Brewery & Brickworks Manager is to develop & execute the overarching Brand Strategy. This role oversees a wide array of business functions, all laddering up to growing Brand Equity with the brand's target audience. From developing new Innovation concepts, to executing a Paid Media Campaign, the Brand Manager is hyper-focused on solving consumer-centric problems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Annual Brand Programs - develop and execute integrated brand programs - (i.e. Consumer Promotions, media promotions, partnerships, etc.) to increase brand awareness and sales on a national basis based on consumer behaviours, insights and market analysis
- Develop creative briefs to guide creative elements with agency partners as required.
- Manage calendar of beer releases at brewpubs; including project management of timelines. Develop supporting materials for brewpubs and sales team, execute initiatives to build awareness for beer releases. Ensure recommendation are based on strategic rationale and business or market performance.
- Lead and execute all new product launches, including packaging development and launch plans for all new beers.
- Lead Website and consumer engagement strategy and execution. Be active in managing our social channels on a daily basis
- Support the VP marketing in developing annual brand marketing campaigns in omni channel
- Support the VP Marketing in developing long term strategy for portfolio
- Support the VP marketing in creating consumer programs for the LCBO and other liquor boards across Canada
- Develop and execute training programs about brand for new employees across all functions
- Selling Tools - Identify, develop, and maintain sales toolkit (i.e. sales folder, sell sheets, online marketing portal, brand presentations, brand assets, beer guide etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- University degree in business or related field
- A Minimum of 3 years brand marketing experience in a beer/alcohol environment with a proven track record of results.
- Demonstrates a passion for all things craft beer and specifically Mill Street.
- Creativity is in your DNA. Design is a passion.
- Excellent understanding of social media
- Must be a self-starter
- Possesses a ‘can do’ attitude with a defined and urgent bias for action.
- The ability to work with a multi-disciplined team. Strong ability to build and influence interpersonal relationships.
- Has completed at minimum the level 1 Cicerone program.
- Possesses outstanding time management and multi-tasking capability.
- Strong problem solving skills and the initiative to adapt and overcome in the face of adversity.
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to derive insights from consumer research and analysis
