Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Student Experience the A3-BSA will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate our high-level college business requirements to finely detailed functional systems specifications that will contribute to the continuous improvement of the user experience.

This position requires a highly motivated problem solver and critical thinker who is analytical and results driven. The A3-BSA, as part of the Students and Academic team will be a change manager who plays a key role to ensure projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organization structures. The A3-BSA will utilize change management strategies and plans to maximize employee adoption of new technology and minimize resistance to change. They will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. The primary focus will be with the business systems that support the delivery of the DVM program.

Primary responsibilities of the A3-BSA include:

- Project/change management
- Business Reporting & Analysis
- Relationship Management

Specific tasks will include (but are not limited to):

- Lead process improvement initiatives related to the translation of business requirements to functional systems specifications
- Project planning, including defining the project goals, objectives and deliverables, scope, budget, resource requirements, project tasks and timelines.
- Lead the integration of business systems to support day-to-day activities of multiple stakeholders within the college
- Develop and document effective testing and training plans, related to data migration and testing.
- Support Senior Management Team (Associate Deans, Directors, Chairs, and Senior Managers etc.) through the creation of dashboards and reports to present high-quality data to support curricular, financial, and operational decision making
- Analyze various levels of detailed data collected within college systems and create reports to provide Senior Management with summarized high-level data and recommendations to track students’ learning and mastery of the DVM program learning outcomes longitudinally.

Requirements of this position include: An undergraduate degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Business or Commerce preferred), along with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional requirements include:

- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, tactful, persistent, strategic, and professional; demonstrated through excellent oral and written communication skills, relationship management, and change management skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle several projects simultaneously

Experience with Clinical Curriculum Management Systems, in an academic environment, is preferred, and considered an asset.
