The **Fun Physio **Team is now seeking a part-time Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to join our multi-disciplinary practice in North Oshawa. Our award-winning team is dedicated to working together to create a welcoming environment of healing and self improvement.
Reporting to the Clinical Director and the Patient Experience Manager, the Patient Experience Coordinator is responsible for creating a strong relationship between the clinic practitioners and patients. Using exceptional customer service and multitasking skills the PEC provides administrative support, and maintains clinic flow in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Optimizing patient experience by demonstrating exceptional customer service skills with every interaction
- Answering telephone inquiries, greeting patients upon arrival, and responding to all questions or concerns courteously and efficiently
- Booking patients, collecting intake information, and utilizing practitioner schedules
- Collecting payments, and submitting to third-party payors such as Extended Health Care providers
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary diploma/certificate in office or medical administration, sales, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills
- Experience in a Physiotherapy clinic, or other clinical environment
- Working knowledge of EMR (Electronic Health Care) software; experience with Practice Perfect an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment and complete tasks efficiently
- LARGE CONSIDERATION also given to current Kinesiology students and/or PTA students working toward their college degree and/or diploma.
PLEASE NOTE: Opportunity is P/T - 2-3 shifts a week (evening 4-8pm) and Saturday shifts). Please note: More shifts may become available in September.
This opportunity is ideal for a Kinesiology/Health Sciences student or a high school student with a KEEN interest in Health Sciences and Kinesiology may also apply, as our team strives to support students toward their long term educational goals.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6-10 per week
**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
