**Your Role**: This position will oversee farm operations to ensure the highest standards of animal care,
health and safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient farm management. The ideal
training, and animal welfare policies
**Day to Day**:
- Ensure proper animal care and welfare standards are met, following ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with industry regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Conduct annual, second-party, and third-party farm audits to assess compliance with policies and regulations.
- Develop, update, and enforce farm policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Design and conduct training sessions for farm employees on health, safety, animal welfare, and standard operating procedures.2
- Perform regular farm inspections, lead health & safety meetings, and maintain accurate training and inspection records.
- Qualitative Fit Testing.
- Assist with the management and data collection for the research barns, including feed trials and other agricultural research activities.
- Provide guidance and support to farm managers on operational and compliance-related issues.
**Required Qualifications**:
- A degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Environmental Science, or equivalent industry
- Experience
- Proven experience in animal welfare, farm management, or compliance-related roles.
- Strong knowledge of farm audits, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Experience in employee training and leadership.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with the ability to conduct inspections and
- maintain compliance records.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
