FLS is searching for a _**Technical Support Specialist based in Eastern Canada**_, to focus on pumps and cyclones and support the growth and development of the Canadian market. By joining the Pumps, Cyclones and Valve's (PCV) organization within FLS, you are joining an extremely dynamic, exciting, and rapidly growing product line.
The role’s primary responsibility is to promote FLS as the leading supplier of Pumps, Cyclones and Valves through on-site troubleshooting and installation support. They will be helping our client's efforts to continuously improve their operational efficiencies and their technical competence. You will be supported by your manager and peers, contributing to the team's goal of maintaining and growing the installed PCV equipment in Canada.
**Job Scope**:
- Visit mine sites and customers in Canada and identify needs in existing equipment to communicate with Regional Sales Managers and sell the FLS Krebs solutions;
- Identify new opportunities to replace competitors’ equipment and install our own;
- Support Regional Sales Managers with site visits to install, commission and troubleshoot Process and Mechanical issues with our Pumps, Cyclones and Valves;
- Present Mechanical and Process training to customers on Pumps, Cyclones and Valves;
- Prepare professional, clean, and organized reports to present to Sales and Customers.
**What you bring**:
- College degree BS or BA OR 10+ years mechanical experience;
- 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer and/or in a Technical Services role;
- Significant experience and knowledge working with pumps and cyclones in the mining industry;
- Experience in effectively interfacing with clients and gaining credibility; developing and implementing project-specific sales strategies;
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to speak French and English is beneficial;
- Respects deadlines and works independently to reach them;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- This position is remote 25% /75% traveling across Canada;
- Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

**Travel**:
- Travel is expected in this role. Volumes will vary based on the requirements of the role but 50% to 75% of the time should be expected.
