**Salary**: Starting at 55 000$ per year

Located in downtown Montreal, Le Nouvel Hotel gives you quick access to all means of transportation. In addition, the location of the hotel gives you a variety of choices for restaurants and cafes for lunch hours or for the 5 to 7 after work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Solicit, develop, and increase key accounts and clients to generate additional opportunities for the hotel.
- Develop and maintain business relationships and key partnerships to increase rates, volume, and revenue for the company.
- Identify the best opportunities for the hotel based on market conditions and location needs.
- Conduct research on markets and potential clients to continuously and favorably increase the hotel's client list based on the specific market.
- Develop and grow group and SMERF segments. Also, develop the individual corporate market, the group corporate market, the association market, and any other market related to the hotel's sales department.
- Establish strong business relationships with key industry contacts and business organizations.
- Develop, maintain, and assist in growing business relationships to increase prices, volume, and revenue.
- Strategically structure prices for each category segment.
- Promote and sell company products and services within an assigned territory, soliciting current or new customers.
- Evaluate and establish prices, credit terms, guarantees, and delivery dates.
- Participate in industry regional activities.
- Develop sales strategies.
- Prepare or have sales contracts prepared.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and new customers.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry.
- In-depth understanding of the SMERF market environment.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hospitality experience, including 1 year of sales experience.
- Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment.
- Knowledge of hotel software such as Hotello.
- Strong skills in sales, negotiation, presentation, and business writing.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
