Our products include, but are not limited to, small parts and assembly materials for industrial, production and MRO needs, personal protection equipment, and technical chemical products.

Position

The Sales Representative generates new business in a given geographical territory. This individual works to support customer needs and maintain customer relationships through effective problem-solving and communication. This individual maintains and strengthens customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and company profitability. This individual works to support customer needs and maintain customer relationships through effective problem-solving and communication. The Sales Representative maintains, and services an inventory management program onsite at the customer location.

On a daily basis, the Sales Representative will mainly be responsible for the following:

- Generate new business-to-business sales of vendor-managed inventory programs and packages in the territory
- Focus on customers within the manufacturing sector
- Ascertain customer needs; identify and introduce new products and services
- Maintain customer relationships through effective problem-solving and communication
- Take daily inventory of the assigned supply, requisitions, and to restock supplies to par levels
- Rotate the stock and ensure that the stored area is clean and maintained up to date in accordance with the regulatory requirements
- Monitor the usage of the stock, create reports related to utilization, and coordinate with the other departments and recommend changes in inventory
- Be the key person responsible for cycle counts as well as the physical inventories
- Resolve all the inaccuracies in inventory and complete audits of the internal processes
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Fastener, Safety & MRO industry knowledge and experience preferred
- Deliver professional sales presentations to potential customers and close a deal
- Committed, aggressive sales drive with desire to succeed
- Proven success in negotiating business contracts
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism in building customer relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Outlook, is mandatory
- Bilingual (French & English)
