**Shipper/Receiver and Warehouse Coordinator**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver and Warehouse Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of shipping and receiving operations within our small manufacturing facility. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and accurate movement of goods, maintaining inventory control, and providing exceptional support to the manufacturing team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Shipping and Receiving Duties**:

- Receive incoming shipments, inspecting them for accuracy and damages.
- Verify the contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Properly label, sort, and store incoming products in designated areas.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing orders by picking, packing, and labeling items.
- Use appropriate equipment, such as stacker or pallet jacks, to load and unload shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is accurately completed and filed.

**2.** **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to identify discrepancies or shortages.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to organize and optimize storage areas.
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales departments to track inventory needs and updates.

**3.** **Quality Control**:

- Inspect received products for quality and accuracy.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure correct items and packaging.
- Report any damaged or faulty products.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement and maintain quality standards.

**4.** **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding shipping and receiving operations.

**5.** **Team Collaboration and Customer Service**:

- Collaborate with other manufacturing team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving shipping or receiving-related inquiries or issues promptly.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in **logistics or warehouse management** is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in **a manufacturing or distribution** center environment.
- Proven experience with shipping **internationally**:

- Strong organizational skills and **attention to detail**.
- Ability to operate pallet stacker, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with **inventory management software** and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in **a fast-paced environment**.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of **safety regulations** and procedures related to shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
- **Dangerous goods** training (batteries) would be considered an asset.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
