Shipper/Receiver

**Duties**:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments
- Unload, unpack, and organize incoming materials or products
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Ensure accuracy of shipment details, including quantities and addresses
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and update records
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks or containers using proper lifting techniques
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet shipping deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Computer Skills
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse or distribution center
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and procedures
- Forklift experience an asset
- Ability to load, unload, and package items safely and efficiently (must be able to lift 50 lbs)
- Valid Drivers License

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
