Voltage Power Ltd, a subsidiary of Aecon Utilities, is a design build high voltage electrical contracting firm that provides the highest quality in products and services for electrical utilities, independent power producers and large power users.
Voltage Power has an exciting opportunity for a Proposal Administrator to join our bid and proposal team. Reporting to the Lead Proposal Coordinator, the Proposal Administrator is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks for the Estimating group. This position will use strong organizational and communication skills, to assist the proposal team in identifying and initiating new bids/proposals in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while maintaining confidentiality.
**What You Will Do Here**:
- Assists in VP Bid Reporting and maintaining the bid calendar.
- Supports in preparing documents in prequalification’s, proposals, presentations, profiles, and other marketing material as needed.
- Maintain historical project and personnel data.
- Updates documents in tender library, expedience and on VP Bids SharePoint.
- Creates social media engagement (responding to enquiries, sharing client posts, etc.)
- Prepare and coordinate swag orders from the Brantford office (Safety Week, Special Events, Christmas, etc.)
- Maintain inventory and manage site orders.
- Builds positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.
**What You Bring To The Team**:
- Relevant post-secondary education and/or 1-3 years related construction industry experience.
- Sound computer skills - MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
- Experience in Photoshop, Canva, and InDesign is considered an asset.
- Background in creative marketing such as branding, proofing, and formatting.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and written.
- Self-motivated with effective multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
- A professional and respectful attitude with a strong customer service focus
