**We are growing Celtrade Canada** has an immediate need for a **QC Technician** to join our team and work out of our SQF Level 2 Mississauga Facility.

This opportunity is open for the Morning Shift. Typical hours are 06:30am - 4:00pm. Hours may vary pending business needs**.**

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Ensure compliance with Regulatory Requirements (CFIA, FDA), food safety programs (HACCP, SQF Level 2), and finished product specifications.
- Responsible for food safety risks assessment and make decisions on raw ingredient/primary packaging/finished product integrity
- Ensure non-compliant product is segregated and appropriate corrective actions are taken
- Responsible for effective implementation of Food Defence Program
- Perform raw ingredient and finished product evaluation, as applicable, to ensure compliance with current specifications
- Verify sanitation procedures through in-house ATP and allergens testing
- Verification of chemical concentrations using approved testing methods
- Acts as an active participant in HACCP Team Meetings
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years’ work experience in a HACCP environment required
- Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to recognize and resolve food safety and quality issues
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision: reliable, trustworthy, honest, responsible, sense of ownership
- Proven strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to provide technical support to operations personnel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.71 per hour
