**Job Overview**:
A Quality Control Technician shall monitor and check products that are received, stored, processed, and shipped. Monitoring warehousing and processing condition and ensuring food safety and quality is in compliance while the facility is in operation.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Perform internal audits on production standard operating procedures and fully document root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.
- In charge of quality control (grading, sizing, moisture content, container inspection) ensuring that the product being received or processed in our plant meets the applicable quality specifications as per contract. Report complaints to the supplier when the deviation is received against the contract.
- In charge of completion and verification of records.
- Responsible for the periodic inspection online (production) and warehouse.
- Frequent production monitoring by checking product quality. Monitoring warehouse/storage conditions.
- Calibrating scales, moisture meter, and other laboratory instruments.
- Receive COAs and other records from suppliers and respond to customer document requests.
- Team member of HACCP, Recall, and Crisis Management teams.
- Responsible for the investigations and Traceability.
- Responsible for enforcement of SQF & Quality SOP’s, verifying CCP operational.
- Notify management of any production, safety, quality or environmental concerns with equipment operation or facility.
- Provide GMP, Food safety & quality training to the temp employees.
- Diligently practice good housekeeping to help minimize slips, trips and falls while ensuring the workplace is sanitary. Inspecting cleaning and sanitation during normal operations and changeovers.
- Follow production policies and procedures. This includes the employee handbook, good manufacturing practices, food safety and quality (SQF), HACCP and any other designated company procedures.
- Maintains work areas in a sanitized and orderly manner in compliance with our regulations.
- Ensure compliance with product specifications, labeling, and regulatory standards.
- Handle customer complaint investigations, resolution and tracking.
- Perform various miscellaneous and non-standard duties as required.
- Work in compliance with ETG Commodities Inc. Occupational Health and Safety Policy.

**Employment Qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree within a related field.
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Practices, Safety Programs, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)

**Nice to have**:

- HACCP certificate preferred
- Internal Auditor Certified preferred

**Other Competencies**:
