**The Opportunity**:
The Centralized Staffing Office (CSO) provides staffing and scheduling support to the three clinical programs (Mental Health & Addictions, Women’s & Newborn Health, Children’s Health) and Pathology and Lab Medicine. Reporting to the Manager of Centralized Staffing, the Staffing Clerk will provide staffing support to the staffing coordinators and administrative support to the Manager and CSO. Duties include, but are not limited to:
**Scheduling/Staffing Duties**:Ensures all shifts are covered and the needs of the unit/department are met. Will also be responsible for managing staff inquiries concerning their schedule and rotations.

**Payroll Duties**:Assists Staffing Coordinators with payroll entry as operationally required. Process shift changes and short-term vacation requests, as well as respond to employee inquiries.

**Hours of Work**:
Rotational shifts as required between the hours of 07:30-18:00

**Your Qualifications**:

- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of a recognized Office Administration Program required.
- Minimum of six (6) months related experience required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
- A combination of equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Excellent organizational skills & flexibility in meeting workload demands.
- Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- High degree of initiative, diligence, attention to detail, and self-discipline/focus.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to Family Centred Care required.
- Competency in other languages is an asset.
