**Transitional Housing Worker - **Lurie Housing Program (Part-time)**:
**The Role and Opportunity**:
The Canadian Mental Health Association is looking for a Transitional Housing Worker (formerly Residential Support Worker) for the Lurie Housing Program. The **Lurie Housing Program** provides 24/7 drop-in support, housing support and case management services to individuals who are living with mental illness and/or addictions and have experienced chronic homelessness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Transitional Housing Worker works closely with the team in supporting clients and provide crisis intervention. The THW will work out of the Danforth Site and be required to work Saturday and Sunday evenings from 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

The Transitional Housing Worker will be required to provide on-site direct service provision and support clients based on their goals. They will orient clients to the programs and services and provide crisis prevention & interventions as needed. The purpose of the Transitional Housing Worker will be to perform residential duties and maintain a safe, clean and secure environment.

The Transitional Housing Worker will also be required to maintain trusting, respectful and collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues; service providers and other community supports.

**Hourly Rate Range: $29.74 - $34.47 + 4% in lieu of vacation**

**Work Location: 40 Danforth Rd.**

**Work Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.**
