Corunna, Canada ECRC~SIMEC Full time

ECRC~SIMEC has a position available for _Operations Support_ personnel for their office based in
Corunna, Ontario. The position is focused on oil spill response preparedness activities, maintenance
and testing of oil spill response equipment and facility maintenance, and the training of oil spill
management team.
Desirable qualifications include:

- Self-Motivated team player capable of functioning in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to function in challenging response situations that requires occasional short-notice

travel.
- Experience in preventative maintenance and repair of small engine and mechanical

equipment.
- Marine and/or Industrial experience.
- Experience in supervising projects and small groups of workers.
- Strong written and oral communications combined with experience using computer-based
- Experience and ability to follow standard operating procedures and adhere to company

policies.
- Experience and/or training in adult instruction
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preference will be given to applicants with Marine certification.

Salary to be commensurate with skills and experience.


Un poste de Soutien aux Opérations est à combler chez ECRC~SIMEC - région des Grands Lacs, pour le
centre d’intervention de Corunna, Ontario. La position est axée sur les activités de préparation en cas de
déversement de pétrole, la formation des intervenants, l'entretien et les tests d'équipement
d'intervention, et l'entretien des installations et Le programme de préparation aux interventions
terrestres (PPIT). Pendant les événements d'intervention en cas de déversement de pétrole, le poste
fera partie de l’équipe de gestion des déversements SIMEC.
Qualifications souhaitables sont les suivantes:

- Avoir un esprit d'équipe et être capable de fonctionner dans un environnement dynamique.
- Capacitée de fonctionner dans des situations difficiles d'intervention qui nécessite des

voyages occasionnels à court préavis.
- Expérience et / ou formation dans l'enseignement des adultes.
- Expérience dans l’entretient préventive et la réparation de petits moteurs et équipements

mécaniques.
- Expérience marine et / ou industrielle.
- Expérience dans la supervision de projets et supervision de petits groupes de travailleurs.
- Excellente communication écrite et orale combinée avec une expérience utilisant des

présentation.
- Expérience et capacitée à suivre des procédures normalisées d'exploitation et d'adhérer aux

politiques de l'entreprise.
- Un permis de conduire valide.
