**The Opportunity**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create compelling communication materials across various channels using superior copywriting, editing, and proofing skills.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and develop materials that engage the target audience.
- Monitor and analyze public relations and social media coverage to evaluate effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
- Assist in public relations duties such as creating news releases and maintaining media lists.
- Support internal communications projects, including events and employee communications.
- Stay up to date on social media trends and provide recommendations for new communication strategies and tactics.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in public relations, communications, marketing, etc.
- Superior writing, editing (photo/video an asset), and proofreading skills.
- Creativity and curiosity in developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
- Familiarity with public relations/social media platforms and distribution and analytics channels.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and professional standards.
