Business Analyst

Are you ready to make a positive impact and put your technical writing and analytical skills to good use? As a Business Analyst with our Change Management team in Head Office and Manitoba Regional Office. You will be responsible for performing strategic business analyses for various departments in support of corporate goals and objectives. This includes cataloguing and documenting business processes and sub-processes in order to discover inefficiencies. In this role you will research, write and understand the functionality and purpose of products and services, then translate this understanding into text that is easily absorbed and understood by any reader.
**Your contributions to the team include**:
- Research and review processes that support business functions and system requirements.
- Requirements gathering, through workshops, interviewing and other techniques.
- Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and develop strategies for enhancing them.
- Lead the maintenance of various operating and procedure manuals
- Review policy and procedure manuals regularly to ensure they are current, complete, and relevant
- Prepare documentation and instructional material that is concise and easy to understand
**What you need to be successful**:
- Post-secondary education in business, communications or equivalent
- Minimum two years' direct work experience as a business analyst
- Proficient in Technical and user-oriented language writing
- Demonstrated experience modeling and mapping business processes
- Excellent knowledge of systems and functional analysis, quality assurance, and change management best practices.
- Effective project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Excel, Powerpoint
- Able to adapt to and learn new software quickly
- Skilled at document formatting and design
- Experience in reporting and results analysis
- Effective time management
- Attention to detail
