To be eligible for the SECURE Summer Student Program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution and available from May to August.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid work permit.
- If you are selected for a role considered safety-sensitive, you will be required to successfully complete a Medical and/or Alcohol and drug test.
**Students are also required to submit a cover letter and recent transcripts. The cover letter will address the following questions**:

**Your Opportunity at SECURE Energy**
In this role, the summer student will support our team with day-to-day administrative duties. The asset management team oversees all mobile assets within Secure Energy, and works closely with the maintenance, transportation, and finance departments.
The position is full time based out of our Red Deer office Monday -Friday.
**The Team**
The asset management team fosters a collaborative and detail-oriented environment, working closely with maintenance, transportation, and finance to ensure seamless asset oversight. This role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive team setting where precision, organization, and effective communication are highly valued.
**A Day in The Life**
- Asset list management and maintenance
- Spreadsheet creation
- Fuel tracking, and maintenance cost reporting
- Documentation creation, review and distribution
- Invoice review and coding
- Assisting with payroll and maintenance costing entries
**Skills, Experience, & Qualifications**
- Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary office administrative program (or equivalent)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to commute to the Red Deer office
- Experience in fleet management, job costing, and online accounting software is an asset
- Previous administrative experience is a desirable trait
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Open communication with team members.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities.
