**Position Responsibilities**
- The Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) School of Arts and Education is seeking a versatile Visual Arts Instructor specializing in teaching Drawing for a full-time Probationary position starting on August 15, 2024. This position is contingent upon favourable evaluations and budget allocations.- Applicants with 3 years (15 studio courses) worth of teaching credit will be given preference.- Primary duties include teaching first and second-year Drawing courses, with potential opportunities to teach in areas such as 2D or 3D Foundations, Creativity, Professional Practice, 2D Art and Technology, and Painting.- Additional expertise in other studio areas, introductory Art History, or curriculum development will be valued.- Applicants are requested to include the following items in their portfolio:
