Are you a customer service oriented supply chain professional, with strong analytical and negotiation skills? We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our supply chain department.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Sourcing in Supply Chain, the Sourcing Specialist will lead enterprise strategic sourcing strategies for goods and services as part of the broader centralized corporate procurement team. This role applies strategic sourcing and category management principles, tools, and techniques to align company goals, business plans, and internal customer objectives, demonstrating ATCOs spend and global footprint to procure best value for the business.

**What Else You Get To Do**:

- Single point of contact for corporate business departments that service the enterprise, working with customers to establish their procurement and sourcing requirements, researching suppliers, negotiating and developing contracts and agreements, and connecting with various business procurement groups to setup their purchasing program.
- Identifies Category opportunities while, seeking potential cost savings, value increase, customer service improvement, operational efficiencies, optimizations, and risk mitigation
- Responsible for the development and execution of category strategies for all spend categories within their accountability
- Facilitates engagement with cross functional partners to define business requirements and ensure alignment with category strategy, timelines, and priorities.
- Conducts competitive bidding (RFx), vendor negotiations, contracts and purchase order creation and management.
- Incorporation of best in class procure to pay processes, contract management principles, compliance management practices, and opportunities to increase innovation
- Performs market research, and spend / cost modeling analysis to inform sourcing and negotiation strategies
- While predominantly a “pre-award” sourcing role, we are moving to a category management module where there will be more focus on contract administration &/or management functions to leverage agreements for effective vendor management and development.
- Conducts regular vendor reviews to drive strategic cost management initiatives, in collaboration with internal customers and Operational Procurement.
- Reports findings related to vendor performance and works with them to improve performance and/or resolves differences between vendor offerings and the needs of the internal customer

**Who You Are**:

- Undergraduate degree is required, in areas of Business, Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science or equivalent is an asset.
- 7+ years diversified procurement or supply chain management experience and strategic sourcing/category management
- 3+ years experience in strategic sourcing/category management
- SCMP is preferred
- Excellent digital literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Experience with data analytics, market research cost, demand modeling, procurement planning, strategic sourcing, competitive RFx development and management, contract execution and contract management is preferred.
- Experience in the following categories and/or industries is beneficial; Corporate Services, IT, Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance.
- Knowledge and proficiency working with ERP systems like Oracle, SAP.
- Proficiency in data analytics methodologies and techniques
- Excellent business and strategic goal setting, critical thinking, decision-making and problem solving and analytical skills
