TKL Group Inc. is looking for an experienced Quality/Hardware Technician for our North York facility. This individual must hold an educational background related to construction. They must be able to pay great attention to detail and be extremely thorough to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Capable of reading blueprints.
- Responsible of installing hardware as per drawings and specification.
- Assisting Quality Control performing their everyday tasks.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments.
- Resolve problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Assess precast concrete during the multiple stages of its’ production to ensure it meets the quality standards outlined by CPCQA, and CSA.
- Inspect finished product to ensure it meets the specifications required by the Building Code.
- Prepare analysis reports based on samples taken, identify any flaws and deficiencies and consult the Manufacturing Supervisor with findings
- Maintain an accurate log of data analysis.
- Responsible for quality and outcome of product.
- Working effectively with your team towards a common goal
- Effective communication and ability to maintain positive relationships.
- Responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety guidelines.
- Conducting laboratory and field tests in compliance with prevailing standards and procedures.
- Examine samples provided, document and advise on any discrepancies.
- Perform field quality control testing if necessary (material sampling, compaction & coring)
- Work with surrounding departments to fix deficiencies using negotiation and problem-solving skills when required.
- Conducting Pre-pour and post-pour inspections on Pre-cast panels
- Documenting of all testing, reports, inspections, etc.
- Inspect products as per the company’s requirements and specifications.
- Create and maintain QC log sheets and reports.
- Manage supply chain to minimize project costs and optimize project requirements successfully.
- Coordinating Panel Deficiency repairs.
- Tracking and documenting Panel deficiencies
- Closing out NCR’s.

**Job Requirements**
- Experience in a Quality Related Position
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Prior experience with fresh concrete testing
- Prior experience with aggregate testing
- Graduate of Engineering Technology Program Preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, time management, and coordination skills.
- Good communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be punctual
