Battlefield Equipment Rentals (a division of Toromont Industries Ltd.) one of Canada’s premiere Construction Rental Companies presently require the following staff for our **Peterborough **location.

**G Regional Transfer Driver**

**Eastern Region Transfer Driver - CONTRACT G POSTING**

We have an immediate opening for a contract G Regional Transfer Driver to work out of our Kingston or Peterborough branch.

Key Qualifications
- The ability to provide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced, high-tempo work environment;
- Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
- Availability for on-call or after-hours work where required, flexible shift hours;
- Prior experience and familiarity in all aspects of safe driving practices, including tying/securing all types of loads;
- Ability to work independently and have strong time management and organizational skills;
- Good communication and people skills;
- Safe driving practices.
- Appropriate class licensing for a G driving position, with a clean driver’s abstract.

Additional Qualifications
- Technical aptitude of light and heavy equipment.
- The willingness and ability to assist the shop technician(s) with general service and maintenance when business levels dictate;
- Prior experience of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset;
- 3-5 years of heavy equipment hauling and operation experience would be considered an asset.
- Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently
