Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Contracts Acquisition Manager to join our team at TRS Staffing Solutions in Vancouver, Canada. This is an 18-month contract opportunity that will provide you with the chance to work on exciting projects and develop your skills in procurement, contracts, and commercial terms.

About the Role

The Procurement Contracts Acquisition Manager will be responsible for administering full contracting lifecycles safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company objectives. This includes developing and recommending contract strategies to improve safety, maintain operation continuity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance. You will also manage RFP processes, evaluate proposals, and handle contract execution and closure.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in Supply Chain, Business Management, or Material Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in pre-award and post-award projects managing the procurement process from sourcing suppliers to contract negotiation and implementation
  • Experience in EPC, mining, oil & gas, maritime, construction, or owner side
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, contracts, and commercial terms
  • Software experience in SAP, Ariba, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding and experience in multiple phases of project execution
