Maintenance Technician

Brampton, Canada Senior Flexonics Canada Full time

This position will report to the Plant Manager and is scheduled for Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. As the **Maintenance Technician**, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of machines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform emergency repairs to machines and equipment to support production.
- Perform regular building checks as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and assist other departments.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Technical skills including knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of Welding Machines is an asset.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Must be comfortable with the following PPE: Eye Protection, Ear Plug and Safety shoes.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights.

**Required Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A relevant certificate in plant maintenance, electronics, millwright or other relevant field is preferred.
- **Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar hands-on maintenance position within a manufacturing environment.**

Pay: From $27.72 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
