AutoCity/ Auto 9000 Sales is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

The Accounting Clerk will perform general accounting duties and support the Finance Department with various accounting and financial functions. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the Finance Department to support the company’s financial goals and objectives.

**Essential Functions**:

- Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial functions.
- Perform general ledger functions including managing accounts receivables, accounts payable, accounts payable receivable, inventory, and other general ledger account balances.
- Assist with month-end close and other financial functions.
- Assist with month-end close and other financial functions.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records according to generally accepted business practices (GAP) in the Company.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company documents and records.
- Provide timely and accurate accounting for all departmental transactions.
- Prepare financial reports for management as requested.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in all accounting procedures, systems, reports, etc., as required by the company.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Required Skills**:

- High School Diploma or GED; Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills; interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, vendors, etc., are required. **Salary**: $34,806.40-$56,679.75 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L5B 1J2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
