**Course Description**:
This course will examine the role of business in society including stakeholder rights and responsibilities, current important environmental and social issues (e.g., climate change, ethical supply chains, etc.) and management practices for sustainable development. It is designed for students who are interested in learning how to integrate their business skills with a desire to better society.

**Qualifications**:
Graduate degree in business or management or undergraduate degree in business or management with a professional designation (CA or CFA). Several years related professional experience in the CSR field. Previous experience teaching a related course at the university level.

**Duties**:
All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams; calculation and submission of grades, holding regular office hours, and maintaining reasonable availability for student and administrative contact, supervision of T.A. assigned to course.

**Estimated TA Support (Hours)**:
Approximately 50 minutes per student enrolled over 30

The Exam period is as follows:
F Term - Tuesday, June 18, 2024 to Saturday, June 22, 2024
Y and S Terms - Saturday, August 10, 2024 to Saturday, August 24, 2024

Note: All positions involve the completion of all course grading. You must be available throughout the exam period as exams are scheduled centrally and individual preferences for exam times/dates cannot always be accommodated.

**Salary for a half-course (0.50 FCEs) inclusive of vacation pay**: The Sessional Lecturer I rate of pay will be $9,457.89. Sessional Lecturer I-Long Term rate of pay will be $9,930.79. Sessional Lecturer II rate of pay will be $10,121.76. Sessional Lecturer II-Long Term rate of pay will be $10,326.61. Sessional Lecturer III rate of pay will be $10,362.76. Sessional Lecturer III-Long Term rate of pay will be $10,570.01.
