NextStar Energy (NSE) is a joint venture between LG Energy Solution and Stellantis.

NextStar Energy will be Canada's first large-scale lithium-ion battery production plant when it begin production at the site on over 200-acres of land on Twin Oaks Drive near Banwell Road.

The manufacturing facility is targeted to have an annual production capacity in excess of 49 gigawatt hours and will create an estimated 2,500 new jobs in Windsor and the surrounding areas.

Production operations planned to launch in the first quarter of 2024.

The **MRO Specialist** is responsible for managing and coordinating processes related to the maintenance, repair, and operational activities to ensure the smooth functioning of infrastructure and equipment within the company. Below is the scope of typical duties for this position:
**Responsibility**:

- Supplier management (New supplier sourcing, Contract, Price Negotiation)
- Evaluating RFPs and bids
- System-based material supply and demand operation and payment support
- (MRO, Consumable material, production trays, packaging materials)
- Invite tenders, consult with suppliers and review quotations
- Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business administration Field
- Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Business administration
- Experiences in purchasing or logistics or material management job
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Experiences in purchasing and procurement field for manufacturing factory
