Ebenezer Baptist Church (EBC) in Saskatoon, SK is currently seeking for a relational, godly, and interactive 1/4-time Welcome Ministry Director to welcome newcomers, and inspire and coordinate our volunteers for greeting, ushering, and coffee times on Sunday & Special Gatherings.

**Qualifications**
- Personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and savior.
- Demonstrate character qualities of a follower of Jesus.
- Love for the word of God and a devotion to prayer.
- Proven ability to recruit and train others.
- Demonstrate a welcoming and hospitable attitude and heart toward others.
- Display a willingness to learn about our EBC ministries and events to be able to guide others toward them.
- Be willing to learn how to use or already knowledgeable in using scheduling software to coordinate volunteers. (Planning Center Online)
- Collaborative team player with a servant heart.
- Agrees with the statement of faith shared by Ebenezer Baptist and the Baptist General Conference of Canada. (BGCC)

Our Welcome Ministry Director will lead our Welcome Ministries by example and by training volunteers to gain God’s heart for hospitality. Part of their role will be to recruit and schedule volunteers to greet, serve coffee, usher, and welcome our church family at various gatherings.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Participate in scheduling and planning quarterly Newcomer Gatherings to inform our church family of who we are and how they can connect into our community.
- Train, recruit, and schedule volunteers to be greeters, ushers, serve coffee, and welcome all that attend our Sunday & Special Gatherings.
- Cast vision for hospitality and the importance of welcoming people into our church family to volunteers.
- Through discussion with the co-lead pastors, to support and work towards the overall

Ebenezer Baptist Church is a vibrant and growing church with a rich history of ministry. Our average weekly attendance is approximately 900-1000 with a median age of about 35. We are especially blessed to have many young families, college students, young people and children who call Ebenezer their home; including in-person and our online community, we have approximately 1300 people in our church family.

We highly value our local community and have been an active participant in it. We also are committed to reaching the nations in Saskatoon and have four partner congregations (Arabic, Korean, Nepali, and the House For All Nations) and a growing Ukrainian community.
