We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing plans to effectively grow sales of each Marvin Company brand in all market segments. The Regional Sales Manager will direct and coordinate all field sales activities while ensuring alignment with company goals and values.

**What you will be doing**:

- Strategy to Market_
- Evaluate the Greater Vancouver Area market and develop a strategy to grow sales and market share in all segments; with the objective to meet and exceed sales targets
- Identify segment gaps and establish plans to gain business in those areas
- Develop a program to support the architectural community and commercial business
- Identify and develop ARC and other trade customers that will commit and be loyal to Marvin Company products
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key customers
- Effectively communicate the value proposition brought to the customer by MWC
- Sales Team Development_
- Establish reporting processes and procedures to help evaluate effectiveness of each salesperson.
- In conjunction with the Territory Managers, provide sales projections and develop action plans for each TM. Manage execution of plans though leadership of the TM team.
- Monitor individual TM performance through sales activity in OMS and Salesforce pipeline. Ensure sales team keeps accurate records and reports in Salesforce
- Provide consistent field coaching to evaluate and improve a salesperson’s performance. Create individual development plans that will support their professional growth
- Act as a coach, mentor, and second level of support for salespeople to provide specific input on critical tasks and projects
- Develop and execute training programs to ensure each salesperson has the necessary product, program and sales skills
- Develop a high performing sales team; delivering prompt, accurate proposals in a professional manner. Keep commitments to internal and external customers
- Develop systems to reduce mistakes and re-orders
- Supervisory Responsibilities_
- Work with escalated customer files, responding to Territory manager customer needs, and working with customers in the showroom (walk in traffic).
- Work closely with branch customer service supervisor to support field service files. This will include diving into the details of specific customer files and working them to closure.
- Develop and maintain a sales force that can effectively pursue all market segments. Work with the General Manager to ensure new positions are identified, hired, trained, mentored, and coached
- Manage the performance of the sales team by monitoring work progress, communicating job expectations, and appraising performance. Ensure that written performance evaluations of supervised employees are completed as required and submitted to HR. Provide continuous feedback on personnel performance issues, and take immediate action to recognize achievements and address deficiencies or problems
- Ensure all employees comply with company policies, procedures and ethics
- Follow up on customer concerns in a timely manner and work with other departments to ensure a positive resolution
- Be accountable for the performance results of the sales team. Assign tasks and projects as needed and ensure appropriate work is prioritized and completed
- Promote open, frequent and dynamic communication among team, stimulating teamwork to accomplish desired goals and objectives. Communicate effectively and support all departments within the company
