The Dock Attendant is responsible for the maintenance of the Docks within West Edmonton Mall.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the Docks within West Edmonton Mall.
- Ensuring the docks are patrolled and ready for deliveries and pick-ups.
- Ensuring only authorized personnel are on site in restricted areas.
- Organizing and boxing cardboard and using the compactor as needed while ensuring it is also kept clean and ready for use.
- Monitoring the dock areas for any potential hazards or security concerns and reporting them to the Outside Maintenance Supervisors.
- Other responsibilities for West Edmonton Mall as required.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time while bending, kneeling, climbing lifting, and performing other activities necessary for West Edmonton Mall’s external maintenance.
- Previous experience working in the delivery industry or loading docks is an asset.
- Able to lift and carry 23Kgs (50lbs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in harsh climate conditions for extended periods of time.
- Previous experience in an outdoor work setting, doing laborer work, or similar in nature.

**Terms of Employment**:

- This is a full-time position required to work 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
