Your Opportunity:
Make a significant impact on patient-focused healthcare as a Site Services Supervisor. Contracting, Procurement and Supply Management (CPSM) is a provincial division accountable for procuring and contracting essential goods and services for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders in order to provide patient-focused, safe, quality health care for all Albertans. You will have the unique opportunity to lead teams at multi-sites and provide direction to frontline workers responsible for activities that include receiving, shipping, supply cart management, replenishment, dock operations, driver and distribution of goods to end users at the sites. As a key member of the Site Services team, you are responsible for leading and mentoring staff, managing budgets, promoting safe work environments, and implementing initiatives.

Description:
Reporting to the Director, Edmonton Zone Support Services, this position has direct responsibility to maintaining operations at the site level. This role is responsible for the timely, efficient, and effective movement of goods and services throughout the respective health care supply chain. This position oversees multiple sites. Strong focus towards customer service and customer relations. The individual anticipates, assesses, and advises on site development and expansion activities. It requires significant skills of diplomacy and tact to ensure that the required objectives and competing healthcare priorities are achieved within budget parameters and timelines. The primary focus is always on delivering timely support to ensure that patient care is not compromised. This position is responsible for the supervision and management of Stores Attendants, Receivers, and Driver. This position is active in several projects. Key competencies required for this role include ability to foster, build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, customer focused orientation and commitment to provide quality service. Demonstrate ability to implement change and handle competing priorities with mínimal supervision. Possess strong interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
