The Penny McKee - Abbottsfield Branch plays a pivotal role in its community. The current location inside the Riverview Crossing Mall on 118th Avenue and 32th Street, opened in 2020 with space and design that meets the evolving community needs for library service. Building community relationships is foundational to the success of this branch.

You will use your superb organizational skills to manage this service point, including a budget of $1 million, 18 full-time and part-time positions, as well as the facility, collections and services, in order to best meet the needs of the community. You are familiar with trends in library service delivery and related technologies and you will promote a learning environment, working with staff to develop their leadership capacity.

You are committed to intellectual freedom and other key principles of librarianship and you will uphold and model the ideals found in the CLA position statements on Intellectual Freedom and Diversity and Inclusion. Working as a member of a system-wide team environment, you will make a real difference in people's lives every day.

**Job Requirements**:

- Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA accredited library school.
- Three years of progressively responsible professional library, leadership, supervisory, management or directly related experience.

**Note**:Satisfactory background screening is required for this position, which includes a Criminal Record Check/Police Information Check.
