This is a full-time position based out of our Langley office and this role requires that you travel to project sites when needed.

**Your day to day will look like**:

- Assist Hall’s Construction Planning & Quality Manager as a resource to Hall’s Planning and quality department and provide QC support as a resource to multiple project teams.
- As directed, you will work with assigned project teams to ensure compliance with Hall’s Quality Management System and provide technical support for quality and materials testing.
- You will assist and train inexperienced quality designates to maintain quality records and review project site QC/QA documentation, materials test reporting as well as Hall process.
- Inspect and report on construction activities and the implementation of related
QMS policies including crew pre-activity meetings, work plans, inspection and test plans, quality checklists, and general compliance with design drawings and materials testing requirements.
- Assist in the development of Hall quality documentation.
- Assist in the development and final review of monthly and final turnover packages for accuracy.
- Perform other duties as required by the Construction Planning & Quality Manager.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- MUST be eligible to work in Canada - Valid working Visa, PR or Citizenship required
- MUST have good English communication (verbal and written).
- 0-3 years experience in Quality or materials testing is preferred (new grads welcome)
- Education: Post-secondary training in a relevant field, is considered an asset.

**Technical skills**
- Strong experience with materials testing and test reporting.
- Strong ability to review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures, drawings, and contract specifications.
- Experience in independent quality inspection and construction monitoring.
- Experience with underground pipe installation and underground works is an asset.

**Interpersonal skills**
- Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to simplify technical materials and advise staff.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to establish positive working relationships.
- Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges.
- Understanding of construction safety.
- A valid driver's license.
