If so, Helcim is looking for a passionate **Videographer** to join our amazing Digital Media team. We’re looking for a person that is passionate about creative storytelling through video production to join our talented team of video professionals.

**What you will do**:

- Help to craft company and merchant stories through collaboration with video and marketing team members.
- Generate comprehensive briefs, scripts, storyboards, shot lists and animatics.
- Autonomously set up camera, lighting and audio equipment for interview, product and promotional purposes.
- Capture compelling photography and video from various shoots, in office or on location.
- Direct on camera talent and instill confidence within Helcim video participants.
- Clearly communicate vision/concepts in both written or verbal formats.
- Collaborate with Video Content Creation Team and Managers across the organization to produce video content that explains concepts, showcases customers/case studies, promotes features, how-to’s, marketing material and more.
- Display strong ownership of video projects and tasks from pre-production through to post-production.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback in a timely manner.
- Help to establish proper implementation of post production workflows with adequate labeling, file organization and maintenance practices.

**Who you are**:

- A detail oriented creative professional, who holds themselves accountable to a high bar for quality and execution.
- Possess an extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom and Audition).
- Comfortable with all aspects of setting up and executing video shoots, either in office or on the run.
- Strong editing skills are crucial with an ability to craft a story, whether it's inherent in the script or lifted from the footage is paramount.
- Basic comprehension of cinematography and camera science, or a deep willingness to learn more.
- Possess a basic grasp of Sound Production/Editing, with an advanced knowledge a definite asset.
- Strong critical thinking skills - especially in an on-the-fly environment.
- Receptive to feedback in the creative process and a growth mindset are crucial.
- A team player who prioritizes collaborative work and “the good of the whole” over personal achievements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, combined with strong interpersonal skills are a must.
- Your portfolio* showcases your finesse with a camera, snappy editing skills, and overall video prowess.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Proven passion for video, film, and photography having worked on a diversity of project types.
- Fluency handling video equipment (Gimbals, drones, DSLR cameras, GoPro’s, digital cinema cameras, shotgun mics, lav mics, lighting equipment and more).
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in a relevant field considered a strong asset.
- Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge - Premiere Pro Wizardry absolutely necessary.
- Willingness to shoot outside of working hours on occasion (evenings, weekends).
- Valid Driver’s License to attend “on location” shoots.

**Bonus Qualifications**:

- Experience with After Effects, or grasp of simple animation principles is considered an asset.
- Experience with Cinema 4D is an asset.
- Curious and willing mindset.
- Interest in marketing an asset.
