We are an influential brand in the specialty coffee segment of the market and are a local loving company with global and world class aspirations. Our company comprises of three standout brands: Monogram Coffee, Soon Coffee and Primary Colours. Our core business is the wonderful coffee we source and sell online through our ecommerce and subscriptions, alongside our wholesale partners across Canada and around the world. We travel the world to directly source coffees from our long-standing producer partners and roast all of our own coffee at our progressive roasting facility. We also operate 6 flagship cafes and restaurants in Calgary and Vancouver.

**What we’re hiring for**

We’re looking for an energetic and creative in-house Photographer / Videographer to take polished photos and videos that spark people's imagination and helps us in our exciting growth plans. **This position is a 1 year fixed contract to cover a maternity leave.**

As our Photographer / Videographer, you will be responsible to take and edit polished photos and videos to be used in our Marketing and Socials campaigns and content, website and cafes. You'll also use your graphic design skills to help create posters or images to be used through these channels. Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring all content is organized and kept up to date. Other responsibilities include assisting with any other Marketing Team needs, both digitally, in-store, or with events. You will work closely alongside our Social Media and Marketing coordinator and report to the co-founder.

Experience at another company/agency not required, but experience balancing multiple deadlines and time constraints is. **Provide a photo + video portfolio demonstrating examples that are related to this job posting, and some things you’re just excited about/enjoyed creating.**

**Some of your tasks**:
**Photos**
- taking polished photos and setting up shoots for Marketing and socials content, product launches, website needs etc.
- editing
- comfortable shooting under time constraints and sometimes quick photo turn around times
- lifestyle + documentary style images, semi-studio, product shots for website, still life, etc
- attention to detail important

**Videos**
- storyboarding, setting up and filming polished video content to be used for Marketing and socials content, YouTube, product launches, website, internal communications needs etc.
- comfortable using Premiere Pro (Adobe Creative Cloud provided) or own video software
- using some audio gear + syncing audio to video
- comfortable shooting under time constraints and sometimes quick photo turn around times
- comfortable collaborating with others and giving direction to those on camera, making them comfortable and confident
