Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our team. As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. You will supervise 50 to 100 employees. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes and meet production goals
- Plan and schedule production activities, ensuring resources are allocated effectively
- Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Train, mentor, and motivate manufacturing staff to achieve performance targets
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain team for timely procurement of materials
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager or similar role in a fast-paced metal fabrication welding / machine manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes related to welding and machine fabrication, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using manufacturing software systems for planning, scheduling, and reporting
- Assess and determine best utilization of manufacturing staff.
- Observe and optimize work habits of manufacturing staff for the purpose of improvement.
- Prepare and present proposals for improvements with justification.
- Complete the above based on previous experience and knowledge of the relevant processes.
- Manage manufacturing production levels and confirm output and appropriate efficiency of same.
- Run and confirm reports that provide information relative to production output and efficiency. Address discrepancies or concerns.
- Meet and communicate with Senior Management, Peer Management and others as required.
- Work cooperatively and diligently with other departments and areas of the company.
