Heavy Equipment Component Disassembler, Reman

Liebherr is a specialist in the development and production of high performing components. Our range covers components from the areas of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical drive system and control technology.
In this role, you will be working within our Remanufacturing division to disassemble, clean, buff, wash and inspect engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors as well as other componenets of heavy equipment.

**Responsibilities**:
- Complete tear down and washing of engine and other component parts using parts washing machine and hot water tanks
- Buffing and cleaning of all sealing surfaces on the components
- Material handling including moving of freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, by hand or forklift, overhead crane or other equipment
- Document and submit incoming and outgoing subcontracted services
- Accurate and timely submission of reports and technical document including service reports
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment and work areas and debris disposal in accordance with company policy
- You make safety a habit with aptitude and knowledge of proper use of related tools including grinding and buffing equipment and the ability to use proper lifting techniques and devices
**Competencies**:
- Valid forklift certification an asset
- Mechanical aptitude needed, working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components preferred.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to work within Excel, Outlook and other MS products
- You are able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner
- You are self-motivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Ability to work with computers and Microsoft Office suite
