**Position**: Substitute Dance Teacher

**Location**: 124 2nd Ave N, Saskatoon, SK (2nd Floor)

- **Flexibility Meets Dance**:Delve into a diverse array of dance styles, from Preschool Combo classes to ballet, tap, jazz, acro and hip hop. Your role provides flexibility, with class hours varying on weekdays from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and daytime classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

**Your Responsibilities**: In this pivotal role, you'll step into the shoes of our regular teachers and guide students through their dance journey. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Responding in a timely manner to requests to teach.
- Delivering engaging and informative dance classes in alignment with on staff teachers provided class guidelines.
- Provide feedback to the on staff teacher post class.

**Qualifications**: To shine in this role, we're looking for individuals who resonate with our studio's values and bring the following qualifications to the dance floor:

- **Dance Enthusiast**: Your love for dance should be infectious, inspiring students to embrace the art form wholeheartedly.
- **Expertise in Specific Styles**: Proficiency in specific dance styles relevant to the studio's offerings, such as ballet, acro, tap, jazz, hip-hop, or others, is crucial.
- **Teaching Experience**: Prior experience as a dance instructor, whether at a studio, school, or workshop, is essential for effectively conveying dance concepts and techniques to students.
- **Adaptability**: Guest teachers should be flexible and able to adjust their teaching style to meet the needs and skill levels of diverse students.
- **Patience and Encouragement**: Patience in working with students of varying abilities and ages, coupled with the ability to motivate and inspire, is vital.
- **Professionalism**: Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions with students, parents, and studio staff are expected.
- **Safety Awareness**: Knowledge of dance-related safety procedures and the ability to create a safe learning environment is essential.

**Pay and Benefits**:

- **Spotlight Compensation**: Competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $20.00-$26.92 per hour
