The Apex location in Edson, Alberta has an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to join the team. Edson is an active marketplace, and the location has a successful team priding themselves as customer orientated and motivated to be recognized as the number one supply store in the area.
This warehouse position is scheduled from Monday - Friday, along with some assigned weekend and on-call hours. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills that will be responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments. There will be some lifting of items in excess of 50lbs, and there will be deadlines to meet in order to keep our customers happy. We are looking for someone with a serious work ethic that likes to stay busy.
Some duties will include:
- Overseeing the secure and accurate loading and unloading of early morning freight
- Operating the forklifts
- Stocking shelves
- Preparing daily outgoing shipments/staging orders
- Processing paperwork and maintaining adequate records for reporting and tracking
- Wrapping product, unloading, and reloading crates
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Various warehouse duties as required
- Deliver orders to customer locations
Attention to safety, quality and detail is a requirement in this position along with a valid Driver’s License.
Excellent people skills, a positive attitude, forklift experience and oilfield knowledge are beneficial.
