You will utilize your experience, education, passion for numbers and detail orientation to perform these core duties:

- Entering sales orders into the accounting system and generating invoices to clients based on delivery confirmations
- Posting receipts of payments received from customers
- Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
- Monitor customer accounts for nonpayment and delayed payment
- Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Generate weekly required and ad-hoc reports
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Maintain accounting files electronically and hard copy
- Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling, and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation
- Issues stop-payments or purchase order amendments
- Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- May disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation
- Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices
- Post-secondary diploma in accounting/bookkeeping, administration, or business
- Strong communication skills (verbal | written)
- Excellent attention to detail, professional manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, strong organization skills
- Experience using Maestro Accounting Software considered a definite asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year
