They introduce new and existing members into the various fitness departments offered. They perform various biometric analysis on our members to assess their fitness level and recommend a personalized fitness and health program.

They thrive in a sales environment and are zealous about promoting health and wellness within the community. As individuals and as a team they achieve business goals, maintain high closing percentages, meet sales targets, and effectively promote the benefits of our services including personal training.

**As a Fitness Planner, a typical day might include the following**:

- Conducting a one-on-one fitness consultation (Road Map Session-RMS) for members with the goal of on-boarding the new member optimally towards their fitness goals. This will include the recommended prescription of the services offered including Personal Training, Studio Fitness Classes, Recovery services, and Diamond member privileges where applicable clubs exist.
- Upon completion of your members investing in Personal Training, you will be responsible for setting this member up with the most appropriate trainer for their goals and ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible.
- At the conclusion of a Road Map Session in which the member does not Invest in a New Personal Training Package, the Fitness Planner is responsible for funnelling the new member to the next event in the New Member Experience (one of the other streams in the Altea ecosystem) which may include a Personal Training Demo, Studio Fitness Classes, LF3 (where applicable), etc.
- Conducting member outreach when needed to fill your schedule with appointments when club traffic is slower.
- Consistently communicating with all departments to better enhance the members’ overall experience.
- Following up with prospective members with personalized recommendations. Many members are reluctant to invest right away and appreciate the friendly follow up to ensure they are achieving their fitness goals.
- On occasion the Fitness Planner may be asked to help in other areas of the club during a cancelled or no-show appointment. Fitness Planners are encouraged to use their creativity during this time to help with lead generation and opportunity to increase earning potential.

**To land this role you need to have;**
- Post-secondary education relating to the health and fitness industry
- Additional certifications or workshops relating to sales, marketing and administration.
- 1+ years of experience in a sales role is advantageous
- Experience in the health and fitness industry preferred
- All team members must complete a criminal background check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
