**Duties**
- Performing basic patient reception and preparation responsibilities
- Performing visual field and imaging test procedures under the supervision of the Technicians and Physicians
- Performing routine room tidying, cleaning and preparation between procedures
- Performing clerical responsibilities
- Providing assistance with service maintenance and quality assurance
- Performing cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested
- Working in compliance of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations, reporting hazards, deficiencies and contraventions of the Act, in a timely manner

**Qualifications**
- At minimum, completion of high school and an additional 1 year program in a general sciences program
- Knowledge of Medical terminology is preferred
- At minimum, 1 year practical and related experience
- Experience working in a Hospital environment an asset
- Previous experience working with Forum or other ADT (Admitting, Discharge & Transfer systems) preferred
- Knowledge of applicable Hospital and Departmental guidelines, protocols and practices
- Ability to perform responsibilities in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to interact confidently and reassuringly with patients is required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good level of manual dexterity and visual acuity
- Computer literacy required; preferably in a Microsoft Office Environment
- Ability to work in accordance with Hospital patient centered practices and principles
- Problem solving, communication, organization, time management skills
