You will have to play an important role in the northern supply chain for our 14 cooperatives located in Nunavik. You will help support daily operations and contribute to the development of a united team where each of us works in a spirit of collaboration and mutual support with an open and cohesive approach, rallying behind decisions aimed at achieving our common goals and initiatives.

**WHO WE ARE?**

The Fédération des coopératives du Nouveau-Québec is owned by its fourteen member co-ops in the Inuit communities of Nunavik. FCNQ was established in 1967 to provide the rapidly growing cooperative movement with more effective powers and services to help attain their vision “Atautsikut” Together—working to develop as a people, leaving none behind.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help coordinate the shipping-distribution clerk team;
- Help to make the composition of the teams according to each task;
- Train and mentor the team of shipping-distribution clerks;
- Answer questions from shipping-distribution clerks related to the preparation of containers;
- Help ensure compliance with processes and productivity by validating the quality of work performed;
- Encourage a culture of workplace safety with a safe environment;
- Help manage order priorities according to the boat schedule, respecting the deadline for delivery to the port for the various cooperatives;
- Generated various reports with Tecsys and Impromptu systems for shipping;
- Make physical inventories before shipping each container;
- Perform shipping-distribution clerk tasks:

- Label, distribute and package products;
- Distribute the goods on pallets for shipment to the various cooperatives;
- Assemble containers and crates of goods and record the contents in the computer system using a scanner;
- Load, secure and unload trucks and containers manually;
- Use the equipment, forklifts and any other type of motorized vehicle necessary to accomplish the tasks;
- Ensure the secure stowage of containers before shipment
- Assistance with space management and storage at Sealift;
- Help coordinate the transport of containers in the yard (container shunting);
- List the returns of goods from the north;
- Provide support to the team leader in his tasks;
- Replace the team leader in his absence;
- Any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- AEC in transport logistics (DEP is an asset);
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Have 1 to 3 years of experience in personnel coordination;
- Valid forklift license;
- Knowledge of the transport of hazardous materials;
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Workplace first aid training (an asset).
- Able to communicate in French and English, both orally and in writing
- Good physical abilities to lift heavy loads;
- Leadership, organized, priority management, stress management and positive attitude;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
