**As we continue to grow our team, PSD Citywide is hiring for a talented Implementation Advisor. This is a full time remote based position within Canada.**

**Responsibilities & Duties**

**Project Management**
- Act as a lead Advisor, managing multiple, multi-phase software implementation projects simultaneously.
- Provide leadership to team members, delegating and prioritizing tasks to junior staff and the development team.
- Draft Project Plans, defining scope, objectives, schedules, and roles/responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, ensuring parties are informed of expectations, progress, and challenges in a timely manner.
- Document project plans, schedules, meeting minutes and relevant records.
- Manage client expectations, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Prevent scope creep and maintain change management procedures.

**Software Implementation**
- Perform Needs Analysis to identify and define the client’s business requirements.
- Configure software as defined in Needs Analysis.
- Ensures optimal system functionality through design of reports and custom add-ins.
- Draft specification documents for the development team required for client-specific custom solutions.
- Analyze, leverage, and manipulate significant amounts of financial data with high attention to detail.
- Ensure quality assurance through testing, reconciliations, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and deliver client-specific training programs and material.

**Software Support**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users experiencing software-rated issues or requiring assistance providing timely and effective resolution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software-related problems.
- Prepare and document support ticket information required for developer investigations.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base of troubleshooting procedures, and FAQs to support efficient resolution of common issues.

**Business Solution Design**
- Support the Sales team with software demonstrations.
- Produce new and creative analytic solutions that will become part of PSD’s core deliverables.
- Support clients in the implementation of financial management improvement initiatives using your strong technical skills and accounting experience.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- College or University Degree in Finance, Information Management, Business, Accounting, or related program.
- 3-5+ years experience in a client-facing, budgeting software delivery environment.
- Efficient project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and take charge of client projects.
- Knowledge of public sector financial legislation, municipal financial management (budgeting, reporting, and accounting) and the relevant financial software and systems.
- Goal oriented individual with a proven ability to drive strong business results.
- Professional self-starter with a commitment to improve skills through continuous learning.
- Deadline driven individual with strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, creative, and able to collaborate with team members with professionalism and tact.
- Professional experience in finance, accounting considered an asset.
- Knowledge in the public sector accounting standards (PSAS), government financial legislation considered an asset.
- Knowledge and/or experience working with large data sets, financial software, and analytical tools.
- Experience in project management tools, methodologies and bets practices.
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
