**Key Responsibilities**:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver trusses and other building materials to construction sites.
- Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with all safety and traffic regulations.
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Load and unload materials at the delivery site, ensuring all items are handled with care and in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Verify delivery accuracy by matching orders with delivery documents.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- Valid Class 3 or 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Proficient in driving trucks and trailers; experience with truss roll-off trailers is an asset.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations.
