Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Broker or Associate Mortgage Broker to join our team in Sackville, NS. As a Mortgage Broker or Associate Mortgage Broker, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their mortgage needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the financial services industry and help individuals achieve their homeownership goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess client financial situations and determine appropriate mortgage options
- Communicate with lenders, underwriters, and other parties involved in the mortgage process to ensure a smooth transaction
- Negotiate loan terms and interest rates on behalf of clients
- Assist clients in completing necessary paperwork and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with mortgage industry regulations and trends
- Manage cash flow and ensure timely payments are made

**Skills**:

- Strong math skills to accurately calculate loan amounts, interest rates, and monthly payments
- Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with clients and provide personalized assistance
- Bilingual proficiency to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele
- Knowledge of financial services and mortgage products
- Ability to negotiate favourable loan terms for clients
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
