Auto Shop Receptionist

The Receptionist provides excellent customer service. He or she receives and processes payments, explains the repair process to customers, schedule appointments and ensure bills and invoices are accurate.

In addition, the Receptionist will complete opening/closing procedures, maintain files of all important documents and customer information, and provide administrative assistance to the technician.

He or she is detail-oriented and good with numbers, has a working knowledge of the industry, and has strong administrative and organizational skills..

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Greet customers in a friendly professional manner.
- Receive and issue customer's payments.
- Communicate the estimated work time, update and follow through regularly to customer's on their vehicle.
- Create work orders and invoices.
- Order parts from suppliers.
- Receive invoices and issue payments to suppliers.
- Complete opening/closing procedures.
- Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to technicians.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Knowledgeable for vehicles
- Understanding of basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
- Must maintain a valid G or G2 driver’s license for Canada.

Background check will be required.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- At least 2 years office receptionist experience.
- At least 1 year of Automotive experience.

**HOURS**:

- Monday to Saturday; 9-5pm
- Weekend availability

**PAY**:

- Pay is based on experience.
- After 3 month probation, pay will raise by $1 every 3 months.

Required language: English

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
