A career as an administrative and operational assistant at National Bank Financial, your ability to work in synergy with clients and colleagues will be a key asset. In this role, you’ll ensure that the branch runs smoothly by efficiently managing administrative tasks, operational activities and any other special projects to be coordinated within the team.

**Your job**:

- Act as a resource person for resolving operational problems for all branch staff
- Perform various daily administrative tasks (IT request, gauging interest in new issues, responding to various requests from the team's mailbox)
- Carry out cost control activities and promote good business practices
- Participate in greeting and onboarding new employees
- Ensure that the branch’s administrative procedures and policies are followed
- Stay up to date on Human Resouces policies
- Provide support to the branch's operational team during peak periods (mail, cheque and certificate deposits, welcoming employees, clients and providers)
- Carry out compliance management tasks delegated by the Regional Manager

**Your team**:
National Bank Financial - Wealth Management is the fifth largest investment dealer in Canada. We have close to 1,000 investment advisors who manage the assets of more than 400,000 clients in about 100 branches. You will report to the Regional Manager and work closely with a team of investment advisors.

**Prerequisites**:

- College diploma in administrative technology or office technology and 3 years of experience in the brokerage industry (operations)
- Completion of the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course and the Canadian Securities Course, an asset
- Organizational and priority management skills
- Very good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Ability to adapt to changes, teams work and work under pressure
